Ladies it is my great delight to serve you. We have a lot to look forward too in the coming year. Because this is my first communication to you, I'm going to dedicate it to our 08' Regional Project. We are going to help Tammy Swailes to make more disciples through INSTE. The work that she and her staff are doing in Eastern Europe is very exciting. We are shooting for 100% participation in our region. If each church gives only $200, the $6000 needed for the Xerox and laptop will be raised. I invite you share any ideas you are using in your church to keep Tammy and this project before your people. Here is what Prairie Family Church is doing: • We take a weekly "Change the World" offering. We have asked the parents and children to save their spare change each week to give in this special offering. • During this offering, we have a short powerpoint presentation with Tammy's picture along with a brief description of what the offering is going towards. For the next few months it will be dedicated to Tammy Swailes. This is Extra Credit: After the money has been raised for Tammy, we will continue to take this offering and donate the money to other Open Bible Missionary projects such as the ABCD Fund, Elida Children's Orphanage, Puente De Amistad, etc. • Tammy is wonderful to keep us updated with what is happening through her blogspot as well as prayer requests. In order to keep Tammy 'top of the mind' we electronically send her prayer requests to the people in our body so they are helping her financially and prayerfully. Additionally we share the many exciting praise reports she passes along. INSTE is growing at a remarkable rate and this will literally translate into more disciples being made. People follow vision and they are able to see it come to pass right before their eyes. It is a way for them to help "Change the World." • To get prayer requests and praise reports, visit Tammy's blogspot at: http://tswailes.blogspot.com.
This is what our church is doing. Now, won't you please share what your church is doing? You can do so by e-mailing me at kelly@openbiblemountainplains.org.
